George Ezra Finishes 5th In BBC Sound Of 2014 Poll

After making an initial longlist of 15, George Ezra has landed at #5 in the BBC Sound of 2014 poll, a selection of new artists capable of making a big impact in 2014.

The annual poll - compiled by tastemakers including BBC DJs, journalists and bloggers - also features FKA Twigs, Royal Blood and DIY cover star Chlöe Howl.

Chlöe heads up DIY’s Class of 2014 in the December-January magazine. George Ezra’s a member too. Signed to Columbia, his doting, rough-necked songwriting has evidently won favour with the liste of tastemakers voting in the poll.

The remainder of the top 5 will be announced later this week.
