Liars To Release New Album In March 2014
Liars’ follow-up to ‘WIXIW’ is out via Mute in March 2014.

Following a string of teasers, each one approximately 5 seconds longer and 10 times more interesting than the previous, Liars have finally confirmed than no, they’re not just messing around and that yes, they’re definitely releasing a new album.
Mute Records has officially confirmed that Liars will bring out the follow-up to ‘WIXIW’ - DIY’s album of 2012 - in March 2014.
The latest teaser is a stop-motion film showing elastic bands tangling themselves around each other and linking up to form the letter ‘L’. The music itself ups the anti on Liars’ previous curveball of a change in direction, with an emphasis on electronics.
In a press release, the band expanded on what to expect. ‘Instead of being doubtful, work on the new album has been immediate, fun, instinctual and confident,’ reads a statement. ‘Creation for creation’s sake. No rules. No mistakes.’
