Listen: Factory Floor Remix Wild Beasts’ ‘Wunderlust’

As things stand, ‘Wanderlust’ is a powerful, politically-charged opening track on Wild Beasts’ ‘Present Tense’ record. Synth lines bite, Hayden Thorpe does his traditional purring routine only with more gusto, and everyone listening quivers in their boots.

But Factory Floor have declared such fear factor nonsense. In remixing ‘Wanderlust’, they’ve given the original a near-endless barrage of industrial noise that playfully twists and turns across 7 mind-bending minutes.

Released on 24th February, a ‘Wanderlust’ EP also contains a remix from The Field, plus a new song ‘Byzantine’.
