Less of an electro anthem that ‘Fot I Hose’, but its beauty is remarkable.

Live Review
The best crowd of the entire festival is drawn by second stage headliners Chrome Hoof. Inspired by the insistent ‘mooing’ by the crowd (something to do with cows having hooves presumably), the experimental mini-orchestra are superb.
29th July 2009, 1:29pm
By the opening melody of first track ‘Hard Times’, well, second track if you take into consideration the frankly pointless intro ‘Kriegspiel’, this new release is extremely exciting indeed.
2nd June 2009, 5:31pm
A great jumble of discordant rock mixed with compelling vocals.

The hype surrounding S.C.U.M does not appear to be dampening whatsoever.
29th April 2009, 5:26pm
A showcase of the syncopated electro-pop that Metronomy have so brilliantly perfected.
17th March 2009, 4:17pm
Micachu & The Shapes are bizarre, yet brilliant.
12th March 2009, 3:58pm

Interview
Here at DIY, we’ve been waiting for The Answering Machine’s debut album for a long time. Luckily for us, it’s out in May. Martin Colclough (vocals, guitar) tells us about it, their recent tour with Ra Ra Riot, and, erm, Answering Machine nipple tassels…
25th February 2009, 4:38pm
It is certainly a great pop song, however it seems somewhat restrained.

Live Review
Ipso Facto play the larger of the two rooms and they definitely do not disappoint; their monochrome appearance and highly controlled performance match the potential of their songs well.
27th January 2009, 6:23pm
It’s a vibrant, uplifting and extremely catchy track.
10th December 2008, 4:24pm
This song is a very unfortunate joke in so many ways.
4th December 2008, 4:11pm
Florence Welch has an intriguing talent.
25th November 2008, 6:38pm
A very 80s disco vibe, falsetto and incredible 8-bit effects.
