Alabama Shakes to play first UK show in ten years
They’ll be returning to English soil for a headlining turn at Alexandra Palace next July.

Beloved band Alabama Shakes have announced that they’ll be ending a decade-long drought of UK shows in triumphant fashion, by headlining North London’s iconic Alexandra Palace on Friday 3rd July 2026 - almost ten years to the day since they last performed live in the capital, at BST Hyde Park 2016.
In the interim, frontwoman Brittany Howard has embarked on a successful solo career, releasing two LPs (2019’s ‘Jaime’ and 2024’s ‘WHAT NOW’) and collaborating with the likes of Childish Gambino, Bon Iver, and Michael Kiwanuka.
The Athens, Alabama trio recently offered up their first new music in as many years, too, in the form of comeback single ‘Another Life’, which was recorded down in Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios with longtime collaborator Shawn Everett. Exact details on the band’s plans for 2026 are still TBC, but we do know they’re working on more new material… so watch this space!
Tickets for Alabama Shakes’ Ally Pally headline will go on general sale at 9am GMT this Friday, 21st November. Listen to ‘Another Life’ for yourself and check out the band’s full set of 2026 UK/EU shows below.
