Angel Haze shares new track ‘Moonrise Kingdom’
Namechecking Wes Anderson, it’s a introspective, vulnerable and emotionally upfront offering.
Angel Haze has shared another preview of their upcoming release ‘Back To The Woods’. The Wes Anderson name-checking ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ swerves away from the self-assured, crashing-into-view arrival of ‘Impossible,’ and ‘Babe Ruthless,’ and takes a turn towards vulnerability instead, without a rap bar in sight. Like the 2012 film of the same name, the song deals in total infatuation.
“This song is like the part in the film where they’re on the roof in that wicked thunderstorm and they’re trying to decide if they’re going to jump in love and possibly die together or let everyone else tear them and their wild apart,” Angel Haze told Noisey, speaking about ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ “I don’t know. Fuck love.”
‘Back To The Woods’ is out 14th September. Listen to ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ below.
