Animal Collective share live recording of Chapel Hill gig to mark ‘Feels’’ 10th Birthday

The band’s 2005 record just celebrated its tenth anniversary.

To celebrate their album ‘Feels’ turning 10, Animal Collective have shared a live recording from a 2004 show they played at Chapel Hill in North Carolina. During the show - which the band have now put out there in full - they showcase ‘Feels’ cuts like ‘Banshee Beat’ and ‘Did You See The Words’ during the 80 minute gig.

There are more Animal Collective live rarities within, including their ‘People’ EP in its entirety, and warbly, glitchy takes on older tracks.

This should do the trick for Animal Collective fans who are eagerly awaiting a new record. The band’s Avey Tare confirmed to us back in April that a new album is steadily coming together, and the band later told fans they had finished the as-of-yet untitled follow-up to ‘Centipede Hz.’ Keep yer eyes peeled, in other words.
