Anna Calvi to support Morrissey on UK & European tour

After yesterday’s big Mercury Prize news (she’s been nominated for the award for the second time running, with ‘One Breath’), Anna Calvi has been confirmed to support Morrissey on his forthcoming UK & European tour.

Dates include an appearance at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday 29th November, with further shows in Berlin, Essen, Antwerp and Dublin.

This year saw Anna Calvi releasing a new EP, ‘Strange Weather’, following on from her 2013 LP ‘One Breath’. Her second record followed in from a 2011 debut in picking up a Mercury Prize nomination yesterday (10th September). For DIY’s full guide to this year’s nominees, head here.
