Anohni to host ‘My Truth’ art exhibition

Following the release of her debut solo album ‘HOPELESSNESS,’ Anohni is set to host an art exhibition this summer at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld contemporary gallery, in Germany. Titled Anohni: My Truth, the show will run from July 23st to October 16th this year.

Anohni - who also fronts Anthony and The Johnsons - will be displaying her own original artwork at the show, from “collages made out of found pieces,” to wax paintings. She has also handpicked a selection of other artists for a specially curated exhibit, featuring work by works by the late photographer Peter Hujar, and artist James Elaine. The environmental and political themes running through Anohni’s recent record also figure heavily in the exhibition.
