Arctic Monkeys cover The Strokes at New York show
Alex did tell us he always wanted to be one…
As Alex Turner told us in the opening line of new album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’, he always wanted to be one of The Strokes.
The band played a huge show in the band’s hometown of New York last night (24th July), and he came a little bit closer to that dream.
Alex and co covered the title track of the band’s debut album ‘Is This It’ at the show, complete with his shocking new barnet.
The singer debuted the new ‘do as the band performed ‘The Ultracheese’ on US telly earlier this week.
In light of the new haircut, we decided to do the sensible thing and rank all of Alex’s looks from over the year, from best to worst.
Read our objectively correct rundown here, and watch the band play ‘Is This It’ in New York below.
