Arctic Monkeys’ comeback tour is gathering pace. A while back, the band announced a whole host of European festival performances in a single morning (thanks, lads), and they’ve now added to the list with some US headline shows.

The band will begin their tour, their first since the cycle for 2013’s ‘AM’, with a show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on 5th May.

Gigs in New York, Washington DC, Toronto and more follow, before the band take to a number of European headline shows, and a host of festivals.

Alex Turner recently revealed that the band will be returning with a new single “soon”, while there’s also rumours that the band are plotting some huge homecoming gigs in Sheffield this summer.
