Arctic Monkeys Top UK Album Charts With ‘AM’
London Grammar went straight in at #2 with their debut ‘If You Wait’.

The UK album charts are looking rosy this week - Arctic Monkeys scored their fifth consecutive number one album (a record-beating achievement for an independent act) with ‘AM’.
The 9/10 rated return from Alex Turner and co sold over 150,000 copies in its first week.
London Grammar meanwhile went straight in at #2 with their debut album ‘If You Wait’. Previous chart-toppers The 1975 went down to #3.
Other new entries came in the form of Goldfrapp’s ‘Tales Of Us’ (#4) and The Strypes with ‘Snapshot’ at #5.
The Weeknd’s new ‘Kiss Land’ album entered at #12, above Janelle Monae’s new record ‘The Electric Lady’.
