Azealia Banks looks set to release the ‘1991’ EP on the 17th April.

Earlier this week, the rapper said that her forthcoming debut album would be a ‘diverse’ affair, before mentioning that an EP would be released in the run up to it.

That now seems plausible, with the reported news that ‘1991’ will come out in April, whilst her debut full-length ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ remains in the works.

The EP looks set to feature some fan-familiar tracks as well as two new songs including the title track and another named ‘Grand Prix’.

Azealia Banks is also reportedly working with Kanye West as well as working on a Lana Del Rey remix.

The rapper is set to play a series of UK shows later in the year. Details for those read:
