Barclaycard to honour leaked £2.50 tickets for Hyde Park events
It’s confirmed: the super cheap tickets will remain valid.
Late last night (Thursday 26th June) a link to buy ‘Friends & Family’ tickets for the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time events at Hyde Park, London was leaked - and still working this morning (Friday 27th June) - with thousands of fans rushing to snap up tickets for just £2.50.
It was initially thought unlikely that the tickets would remain valid, as they were intended for friends and family of those working with the event. However ticketing agent AXS has since confirmed to International Business Times that they will be honoured.
The series of gigs will kick off next week with Arcade Fire performing on Thursday 3rd July. Sets will also come from Jake Bugg, Wild Beasts and Future Islands. Other headliners include Black Sabbath, The Libertines, Neil Young and McBusted.
