Beabadoobee, Dry Cleaning, Sports Team & Self Esteem to play DIY’s final SXSW showcase
The Murder Capital and Disq will also play our third show of the festival.
You know the score by now: this month Team DIY are heading to the USA for a fortnight full of musical fun. After stopping off in New York for both Sorry’s first NY headline show, and our stage at New Colossus Festival, we’ve got plans for not one, but two showcases at this year’s SXSW. Except, we might’ve told a little white lie: we’ve actually got three(!) shows in Austin this month.
That’s right, as well as our stint at the British Music Embassy with Ticketmaster New Music, and our collaborative stage with NY zine Alt Citizen, we’ll be bringing you a showcase especially packed full of DIY’s favourite new acts, including our Class of 2020 alumni Beabadoobee and Dry Cleaning - bet you remember our cover stars?
Other acts set to play our showcase - which takes place at Latitude 30 on Tuesday 17th March - include Self Esteem, The Murder Capital and Disq - plus, we’ll be welcoming back Sports Team, to see if they can incite another riot this year too.
