Broken Social Scene seek survival in the video for ‘Skyline’
Peanut butter, skateboarding and Foreigner are all essentials in the quest for solace.
Want to know some tips for momentary survival? Peanut butter, mouth guards, friendship, skateboarding and, of course, Foreigner.
Yes, ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ can help you be a survivor, at least, that’s according to Broken Social Scene anyway. After releasing their latest album ‘Hug Of Thunder’ back in July, they’ve shared a brand new video for their single ‘Skyline’.
Following the toilet-based clip for ‘Vanity Pail Kids’, it’s once again been directed by the band’s own Kevin Drew, following fellow bandmate Brendan Canning and Dimitri Karakostas on that very quest for survival. It’s all quite heart-warming stuff, even when there’s a dreaded trip to the dentist…
Earlier this year, we caught up with Brendan Canning to talk about the new record and some of his latest and earliest musical obsessions in New Tricks. Catch up here.
Watch the video for ‘Skyline’ below.
