Chilly Gonzales announces new record, ‘Chambers’
The Canadian pianist will follow his collaboration with Boys Noize with a new album.
Canadian pianist and composer Chilly Gonzales has announced plans to release a new album, titled ‘Chambers’.
Following on from his 2012 full-length ‘Solo Piano II’ (which was nominated for the 2013 edition of the Polaris Music Prize) and his recent collaboration with Boys Noize, Gonzales will release his latest offering on 23rd March through Gentle Threat Ltd.
According to a press release, ‘Chambers’ itself comes ‘inspired by the deepening relationship with Hamburg’s Kaiser Quartett’ and sees Gonzales attempt to give traditional chamber music a bit of a facelift.
