Win tickets for Los Campesinos! at Dr. Martens’ #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour in association with DIY
The band will play Birmingham’s The Flapper this weekend, with Johnny Foreigner.
Los Campesinos! will perform at The Flapper this Saturday (22nd November) for the Birmingham stop on Dr Martens’ #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour in association with DIY, joined by Johnny Foreigner and Bella Figura.
“With the show coming shortly after festival season, it’ll be a really nice move from big outdoor audiences to a sweaty, indoor club vibe,” Gareth Campesinos! says of the date, which follows their sets at Truck and Festival No. 6, amongst others.
“They are different sort of thrills,” he continues, “playing to massive crowds and to intimate, whites-of-your-eyes style audiences, and if I had to pick, I’d go for the latter. When you’re practically chest to chest with your audience, you can form a real connection that’s so much harder to replicate with a barrier between you.”
To celebrate, we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away - to be in with a chance of winning them, simply sign up to DIY’s mailing list, send us a tweet, or follow us on Twitter or Facebook. The competition closes on Wednesday 19th November.
The remaining dates on the #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour are as follows:
NOVEMBER
22 Los Campesinos! + Johnny Foreigner: The Flapper, Birmingham
28 Don Broco + Lonely the Brave: The Black Heart, London
DECEMBER
01 Tonight Alive + tbc: Warehouse 34, Newcastle
