Between writing for the new JAWS record, frontman Connor Schofield has been writing songs under his own name, and presents first cut ‘Sun Burns’ as today’s Neu Pick.

Stripping down songs to their barest parts, and reflecting on his move from the band’s hometown of Birmingham to London, the track is the most honest we’ve ever seen Schofield, and it’s a refreshing burst of sad pop that engulfs everything around it.
