Conor Oberst Confirms Work On New Solo Album
Due out later this year, the record features First Aid Kit on several songs.

Conor Oberst is set to release a new solo full-length in 2014, five years after his last solo LP on Merge, ‘Outer South’.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, the Bright Eyes songwriter confirmed that a) he’s no longer a vegetarian and more importantly b) he’s a new record in the pipeline, recorded in Nashville.
Details remain scarce, but one of the song titles is ‘Time Forgot’, and Jonathan Wilson is on the production desk.’I tried to work with some big-name producers,’ says Oberst. ‘And it was like, ‘This dude doesn’t know shit from shit.”
First Aid Kit are said to feature ‘heavily’ on the album, across several songs.
