Dead Pretties share scuzzy new track ‘Water’
The Londoners have just kicked off a tour of the UK.

London’s Dead Pretties followed up their debut single ‘Social Experiment’ with the blinding ‘Confidence’ just a few weeks ago. Now, just as they’ve kicked off a tour of the UK, they’re back again!
Their new track ‘Water’ is out now on Big Score Records. Kicking off as a vry slightly lilting number (by their standards at least), it soon bursts into aggression, with clashing drums and cymbals, scuzzy riffs and growls from frontman Jacob Slater.
Speaking of the track, Jacob said: “It’s a song about deliberate self-destruction, allowing something to slowly kill you because you think the kick you get from that makes you feel more alive than anything else”.
As mentioned, Dead Pretties kicked off a UK tour in Manchester last night, with the tour continuing in Newcastle before heading around the country. Tickets are on sale now.
Listen to ‘Water’ and take a look at the rest of Dead Pretties’ remaining UK tour dates below.
