Deerhoof preview new album with ‘Paradise Girls’

This November sees beloved underground stalwarts Deerhoof release their new album, ‘La Isla Bonita’.

The band have already previewed the record with ‘Exit Only’, a kicking and screaming burst of noise that isn’t quite matched in fervour by new track ‘Paradise Girls’.

This one’s more in tune with a party spirit, clattering cowbell and obtuse guitar sections doing most of the work. Consider this the band’s get-up-and-go party anthem.

‘Paradise Girls’ is “about how girls are and have always been smarter,” according to the band.

‘La Isla Bonita’ is out 4th November on Polyvinyl.
