Deerhoof are sharing new music from their side projects for charity

Proceeds are going to the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights.

Back in September, Deerhoof released their latest album ‘Mountain Moves’, but now they’ve just released a lot more new music. Kind of.

As the final installation from their 2017 Joyful Noise “artist in residence” series, the group have uploaded a bunch of new tracks from their various side projects on to their Bandcamp page. It includes new tunes from Aye Aye Rabbit, Cover Band, Ascending Diagonals, Spinneret.s and some solo material from Ed Rodriguez. All of the tracks are pay-what-you-like digital downloads, with all proceeds going to the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights.

See all of the different released tracks from each band via Deerhoof’s Bandcamp page here.

We caught up with Deerhoof to talk about their musical upbringing, including topsy turvy drum kits and not really being a big fan of a certain Queen tune. Catch up with the interview here.
