Diet Cig share new single ‘Dinner Date’

Diet Cig have shared their new single ‘Dinner Date’. Out as a co-release from Art is Hard Records and Father/Daughter Records, the single is available to pre-order here. It’s been sold as a normal 7” single in a limited run of 1000. It can also be snapped up in t-shirt form, along with a download code.

‘Dinner Date’ is not a 2 and a half minute tribute to ITV’s esteemed show of the same name; actually, it’s a mucky, fuzz-edged rant after horribly lame date. “Maybe that’s why I don’t like to fucking slow dance!?” quips frontwomen Alex Luciano at first, but the mood soon gives way to being “scared like a third-grader on a triple-dog-dare” instead.
