DIY to host Spector, Menace Beach & more on final day of The Great Escape

Brighton fest closes out with DIY’s The Arch takeover, plus sets from The Maccabees and Gengahr.

The final day of this year’s The Great Escape takes place today, and DIY is closing things out with a jam-packed takeover of The Arch.

Spector top a five-band bill running from half 6 this evening and kicking off with Birmingham group Ekkah.

They’ll be followed by London charmer Oscar, DIY favourites Menace Beach and psych-nodding oddballs Zun Zun Egui.

As well as DIY’s Great Escape showcase, today sees the fest hosting sets from Manchester producer Oceaán, local gems Demob Happy, Dublin’s Girl Band, plus Gengahr, Shamir, Pity Sex, Spring King and The Maccabees, who close things out at the Corn Exchange.

The Alt Escape sees Drenge, Girl Band, Bloody Knees and more taking over Bleach for an all-dayer.
