Dream Wife, Pixx and Doe are three of the latest acts to receive funding as part of PRS Foundation’s Momentum Music Fund.
In the latest announcement, it’s been confirmed that a total of twenty acts have successfully applied to the fund - which is supported by PRS Foundation, Arts Council England, Spotify and PPL - with the money going towards helping each artist take advantage of the momentum - geddit? - they have gained so far in their careers.
While Dream Wife and Pixx will receive funding to help support their next UK tours, Doe will use the money to begin the recording of their second album, the follow-up to last year’s ‘Some Things Last Longer Than You’.
The likes of Trudy and the Romance, Childcare and Estrons are also amongst those who’ve been offered financial support, with the full list of artists looking like this:
Deep Throat Choir
The Pale White
Trudy and the Romance
They join the likes of Years & Years, Kagoule, Spring King, Ghostpoet, LIFE and The Xcerts, who have all previously been funded since Momentum was launched back in 2013.
