Earl Sweatshirt shares video for ‘Off Top’
The animated clip depicts police brutality in a hellish landscape.
Earl Sweatshirt has shared a video for ‘Off Top’, a track featured on his recently released album ‘I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside’.
Directed by Taylor Johnson (a visual designer at Adult Swim), the animated clip begins with images of flames dancing around a police car before Earl drops into hell for a train ride around a nightmarish labyrinth. The short clip sees him running from a dog (presumably a police officer’s) before he’s beaten by other characters, closed out with photo images of riot police looking out on a scene.
The new uncensored video will air on television tonight (7th August) during a Family Guy broadcast following the censored premiere on Adult Swim this afternoon.
Watch the video for ‘Off Top’ below. Earl Sweatshirt’s ‘I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside’ is out now on Tan Cressida/Columbia Records.
