There’s a new Earl Sweatshirt track in the world….
….and ‘Death Whistle’ may well be produced by King Krule.
A new unreleased track from Kendrick Lamar’s favourite rapper is now out in the wild. The first solo material from Earl Sweatshirt since last year’s ‘I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside’ got a spin on RBMA Radio, courtesy of producer Knxwledge.
As Noisey reports, right before playing ‘Death Whistles,’ Knxwledge said on air: “shouts out Edgar”. They suggest that he was making reference to Edgar the Beatmaker - King Krule’s production alias, and that the South Londoner may be responsible for producing the song.
It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to find the pair working together, after all; they previously went into the studio with members of Warpaint and Jagwar Ma for an incredible weird recording session.
Listen to ‘Death Whistles’ below.
