Factory Floor flick a deadly switch on Interpol’s ‘My Desire’

DFA-signed dance heavyweights Factory Floor have offered out a new remix of ‘My Desire’, a hot-and-heated highlight from Interpol’s latest album.

Taken from ‘El Pintor’, the original sees Paul Banks and co. refining their NYC-stamped trade into something unashamedly tense. Factory Floor’s role, in this case, is to make the whole thing sound even tougher and tightly-coiled. A warped, warbled throb circuits for seven solid minutes, giving way to the odd vocal line that sounds a touch like Banks if, say, he’s a 400 ft tall fire-breathing dragon that god fed up of wearing suits and went apeshit instead.

The remix arrives ahead of a 27th October release for ‘My Desire’.

Interpol return to the UK in 2015 for the following shows;

FEBRUARY

06 London, Roundhouse

07 London, Roundhouse

08 Manchester, Albert Hall

10-12 Dublin, Olympia
