False Advertising are going on a UK tour

Manchester bunch False Advertising smashed British borders earlier in the year by playing SXSW (and making a video all about it too!)

Now they’ve announced a run of shows a little bit closer to home, which will see them darting about across the Isles at the likes of London, Brighton, Manchester, Chester, Cardiff and Birmingham. But that’s not all! They’ll also be releasing a brand new EP to boot!

Their new collection ‘I Would Be So Much Happier If I Just Stopped Caring’ will only be available as a limited edition cassette tape on the new tour dates. Recorded across London, Manchester, Oxfordshire and Hull, it features their previous single ‘It’s Been A While (So Sick)’, whose lyrics were donated by anonymous young people as part of Warren Records’ Three Minute Heroes Project.

Speaking of the EP, the band said: “I Would Be So Much Happier… is the result of a year of being bombarded by frustrating cultural and political events. It’s about wanting to run away from all the pointless nonsense, stupidity and inequality that we’re surrounded by, but ultimately never quite being able to get it out of our heads”.

See all of the band’s upcoming UK tour dates and revisit ‘It’s Been A While (So Sick)’ below. Tickets are on sale now.
