Teeny tiny: Fucked Up announce tiny show at London’s Shacklewell Arms

The band will follow up their show at London’s Koko with the tiny performance.
Next week, Fucked Up are set to take on London’s Koko for a co-headline show with La Dispute. Evidently, that’s not enough for the Toronto punks; they’ve now confirmed plans for a tiny show the following night.
The band, who release their new EP ‘Year of the Hare’ on 16th June via Deathwish, will be taking to London’s Shacklewell Arms for the performance. It’ll take place next Wednesday 27th May.
Their upcoming UK shows, which include a slot at Sound City in Liverpool playing on DIY’s own Baltic Stage, are as follows.
MAY
23 Liverpool, Sound City Festival
24 Bristol, The Marble Factory
25 Leeds, Gold Sounds Festival
26 London, Koko
27 London, Shacklewell Arms
As for the shows themselves, their upcoming tour will see the band expand their line-up to nine members, when the band Doomsquad will join them on tour. They’re promising an “improvisational and experimental” form of live show.
In the meantime, listen to ‘California Cold’, their sprawling eight-minute track, as taken from ‘Year of the Hare’, below.
Fucked Up will play Sound City (22nd- 24th May), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
