George Ezra streams ‘Wanted On Voyage’ debut in full

DIY Weekly cover star George Ezra is streaming his debut album ‘Wanted On Voyage’ in full.

The first work includes singles ‘Cassy’O’, ‘Blame It On Me’ and chart-botherer ‘Budapest’ (currently sitting pretty at #4 in the UK singles chart).

In our Weekly cover feature, George says the album ended up documenting his jaunt around Europe before this whole music thing took off. “I wasn’t trying to, it just turned out that way. A lot of people won’t have a clue that they were written there, but for me in my head I think it’s obvious they’ve all come from the same period..”

Despite doing most of the travelling on his own, it’s also the opposite of a lonely record, he says. “Because I feel so much of it has been a journey - not even just that, but for everyone involved in the record, it’s a first for a lot of us and it’s exciting for all of us. All of my friends and family are on board, not bowing down to what I’m doing or whatever but they’re interested and excited.”
