George Ezra’s ‘Wanted On Voyage’ sells 1 million copies in under a year
That’s ‘quite a lot’ of records, fact fans.

George Ezra only released debut album, ‘Wanted on Voyage’ last June - and according to the Official Charts Company, the record has already racked up over one million copies sold.
“Selling a million albums almost doesn’t feel real,” George told them. “I don’t actually think I’ve ever seen a million of anything. Thank you so much to anyone who has bought the album and has enjoyed it.”
The record entered the charts at #3 on release, jumping to the top spot in October following a string of UK TV appearances.
If that wasn’t enough, it’s also the 25th best-selling record of the decade so far, sandwiched between Rihanna’s ‘Talk That Talk’ and Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born To Die’.
George has a series of festival appearances planned throughout the summer, as well as one-off gigs in London and Bristol.
