GIRLI shares a new video for ‘Play It Cool’

A couple of weeks ago GIRLI followed up last year’s ‘Hot Mess’ EP with brand new track ‘Play It Cool’, a pop banger with some vintage vibes.

She also promised that there’d be a new video for the tune on the horizon, and now it’s landed! Set in a single room, it details GIRLI’s attempts to get a (very, very disinterested) guy to take notice of her. How she fails with a pizza that large we’ll never know. By the end, she’s scribbling across the walls and tearing up pillows. Rebecca Lucy Taylor - of Self Esteem and Slow Club - also directed the clip!

GIRLI is also heading out on the road in April! Kicking off at Norwich’s Epic Studios, the run will take her to Oxford, Bristol, Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, London and Southampton before the jaunt rounds off in Cardiff on 14th April. Tickets are on sale now.
