Gorillaz join Rock Werchter 2026 lineup
The fest has also recently confirmed that The Cure and Twenty One Pilots will be performing next summer.
Belgian festival giant Rock Werchter has named Gorillaz as the third act to be confirmed for next year’s event, which will take place at Werchter’s Festivalpark from Thursday 2nd July to Sunday 5th July 2026.
The innovative virtual band - helmed by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett - will take to the stage on Saturday 4th July, treating crowds to an immersive audiovisual set spanning their iconic back catalogue, as well as cuts from their forthcoming new album ‘The Mountain’.
Gorillaz join Twenty One Pilots and Sunday night headliners The Cure on the Rock Werchter 2026 bill, with many more names still set to be announced. Tickets for next year’s festival will go on sale from 10am on Friday 21st November, with pre-registration open now. Find out more and nab yours at rockwerchter.be.
