London trio Happyness have twisted and contorted into different shapes this year, with their ‘Weird Little Birthday’ debut showcasing multiple personalities before combining them into one brilliant mess.

‘Full of Minnows’ is the band’s latest, taken from a new compilation called ‘80N7’ which also brings together songs from Spring King, Sunboy and Fake Laugh.

Including the line “saw a blowjob through a window / nothing gets better than this,” Happyness continue to forge their own strange stories on this dreamy lullaby of a new track.

Earlier this summer, Happyness confirmed that they were keen to get to work on a second album, as well as looking ahead to the band’s first US tour, including an appearance at CMJ Festival.

“It should be really fun,” said guitarist Benji Compston. “It’s really exciting, a lot of our influences are from the States and New York specifically. It’s going to be nice to be there. As humans we’ve been to New York before - as musicians, never.”
