What a Mess
Hear Liars remix their own single, ‘I’m No Gold’
“Thanks For The Remix’ edit arrives ahead of their London ‘Illuminations’ date.
Liars’ wild, frenzied ‘Mess’ record is mostly the product of ever-experimental musicians continuing to fuck around. Once they’re given new toys, they run riot - this time it was gadgets galore, a ridiculous number of dance-centric tools.
Given a spare few minutes, they even decided to remix their own songs. ‘I’m No Gold’ - the band’s new single - has been given an overblown, industrial edit. Streamable below, it features alongside Daniel Miller, Nest of Teens remixes, plus an instrumental cut and a new B-side, ‘Poison Bender’.
Titled the ‘Thanks For The Remix’ Remix, listen below.
Liars play London’s Illuminations festival at Village Underground, 1st November.
