Hope Tala confirms details of debut album ‘Hope Handwritten’
She’s also released the fifth track to be shared from the project, ‘Jumping The Gun’.

West London’s Hope Tala has announced that her debut album, ‘Hope Handwritten’, will be released on 28th February via PMR Records.
Having released a string of singles in recent months - including ‘I Can’t Even Cry’, ‘Bad Love God’, and ‘Thank Goodness’ - the rising talent has also now shared the fifth track to be lifted from the record, ‘Jumping The Gun’. A smooth R&B-influenced cut, this latest offering is one of the first songs Hope wrote for the LP; speaking about it, she has said that it’s “one of only two that made it from the very first draft I wrote in 2021 onto the final track list - I never once considered letting it go.”
Explaining more about the origins of the album’s title, she has shared: “The title contains multiple meanings; I write most of my lyrics by hand in a notebook, hence ‘handwritten’, and I’ve put so much of my heart and soul into this music, which is where the self-titled element came from - but it also communicates what I believe is the crux of the record, which is the struggle to hold on to the feeling of hope.”
