Jessica Winter is gearing up for ‘My First Album’
Her literally-named debut LP will land in July.

Alt-pop purveyor Jessica Winter has unveiled details of her long-awaited debut full-length; aptly titled ‘My First Album’, the 13-track project is slated for release on 11th July via Lucky Number, and will act as a follow-up to her 2023 EP ‘Limerence’.
Discussing the LP’s throughline, she has revealed that ‘My First Album’ is conceptually about ‘somebody’ aspiring to be a star and wanting to fill the void deep inside herself. Along the way there are various diversions and adventures, involving people, places, and things. Ultimately, however, she is on a journey of self-discovery and realisation, and that all she really needs is to love herself.”
Having shared her last single, ‘L.O.V.E’, back in February, Jessica has marked her big announcement by offering up second LP cut ‘All I Ever Really Wanted’ - a glittering nu-disco number in the vein of Kylie or Jessie Ware. “When fantastical expectations are set so high, reality will always feel like a disappointment,” the performer has said of the track. “As an artist, fantasising is part of the process but it can have a negative impact when you’re forever fantasising and lose appreciation for the real stuff. It’s a sound of life imploding whilst in delusional euphoria.”
