Joanna Gruesome and Perfect Pussy air tracks from forthcoming split release

A new 7” contains previously unheard material and covers, arriving in comic book form.

This autumn, UK gems Joanna Gruesome are teaming up with Perfect Pussy for a special split 7”, which brings together previously unheard songs and newly-fledged covers. It’s out via Slumberland/Captured Tracks/Fortuna Pop and follows on from both band’s recent tour dates across the country.

Two sides of the 7” have been unveiled. First up there’s Perfect Pussy, who cover ‘Leash Called Love’, a track from Björk’s first ever band the Sugarcubes. There’s also a new Joanna Gruesome song, ‘Psykick Espionage’ - both can be heard below.

The split itself arrives alongside a comic book, designed by Phil McAndrew (brother of Perfect Pussy guitarist Ray McAndrew.)
