Jónsi & Alex Somers to play ‘Riceboy Sleeps’ album in London
It’s only the second time the 2009 record will be performed live.
Jónsi & Alex Somers are set to play their collaborative 2009 album ‘Riceboy Sleeps’ live for only the second time this year.
The record will come to a show at London’s Barbican on 8th July, where the pair will play alongside the London Contemporary Orchestra.
The album has only previously been played at a Manhattan show at St Paul the Apostle Church in 2010.
The performance will be conducted by Rob Ames, arranged for orchestra by David Handler.
In November of last year, Jónsi released his ‘lost’ triple album, ‘Frakkur 2000-2004’.
