Joyce Manor announce new album ‘Million Dollars To Kill Me’
They’ve also shared the title track from the album.
Joyce Manor have announced their fifth full-length album ‘Million Dollars To Kill Me’ and shared the title track from the record. The follow up from 2016’s release ‘Cody’, the record will be released on 21st September.
Produced by Converge’s Kurt Ballou, ‘Million Dollars to Kill Me’ came to life at Ballou’s own GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts. During the recording process, the band - guitarist/vocalist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, bassist Matt Ebert, and new drummer Pat Ware - slept above the studio in bunk beds, which “kinda felt like camp,” Johnson notes. The album was mixed by Andrew Scheps, who’s previously worked with Weezer, AFI, Green Day.
It’s the first new music since the band released ‘NBTSA’ and a cover of The 6ths’ ‘Falling Out Of Love With You’.
