Aussie songwriter Julia Jacklin announces debut album
‘Don’t Let the Kids Win’ is out this October, via Transgressive.

Blue Mountains-raised songwriter Julia Jacklin has announced her debut album, ‘Don’t Let the Kids Win’.
A breakthrough at this year’s SXSW, she’s inked a deal with Transgressive for her first full-length, out 7th October.
Alongside the album announcement, she’s shared new track ‘Leadlight’, plus a self-directed video filmed in her own high school. “A lot of the shots focus on the stage where I performed in the chorus for ‘Grease’ and ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and the unfortunate time I chose to sing ‘Wonderwall’ to a backing CD for a senior assembly,” she says (we’d love to hear the ‘Wonderwall’ cover one day, tbh).
