Kanye West’s ‘Midas Touch’ demo leaks, possibly taken from the new Rihanna album

As the world waits with baited breath for new material from both Rihanna and Kanye West, a demo potentially written by the latter for the former’s upcoming ‘R8’ album has leaked online.

‘Midas Touch’ sees West wax lyrical about “new Rihanna in the front” and “bitches in the back” over a stripped back, pneumatic lead synth line. It’s a little rough round the edges so clearly still in demo form, but it’s an insight into the potential musical direction both artists will take on their anticipated 2015 releases. The demo comes following the duo’s collaboration (alongside Paul McCartney) on chart smash ‘FourFiveSeconds’. Kanye’s ‘So Help Me God’ and Rihanna’s ‘R8’ are both expected to drop this summer.
