Kanye West plays ‘Only One’ live at Super Bowl pre-party
West teamed up with Rihanna for the event, where they performed duets and some of their solo work.
Kanye West and Rihanna performed together at DirecTV’s Super Bowl pre-party on Saturday, with Kanye debuting ‘Only One’ live for the first time.
While Rihanna was originally in the running to play the Super Bowl Halftime Show itself, organisers opted for Katy Perry to play the prestigious event, opening up the opportunity for DirecTV to invite RiRi and West to perform at their own pre-party. The event took place at DirecTV SuperFan Stadium in Glendale’s Pendergast Family Farm, Phoenix, ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday evening.
Surprisingly, the two did not perform ‘FourFiveSeconds’, Rihanna’s latest single featuring West and Paul McCartney. However, fan footage that’s since emerged online shows duet performances of her hit ‘Diamonds’ and West’s ‘All of the Lights’. West also debuted ‘Only One’ live - as you can watch over on Instagram - whilst acting as compére for Rihanna’s solo work.
Watch a handful of the performances from Saturday evening below.
