As revealed via Twitter, ‘Rapt’ will premiere on BBC Radio 6 Music after midday on July 28th.

‘Crush Songs’, Karen O’s first solo album, will be released on 9th September via Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult Records. Featuring material, including home recordings, made back in 2006 and 2007, the record will also include Karen’s “own personal drawings, handwritten lyric and more”.

“When I was 27 I crushed a lot,” she says of the new record. “I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours.”
