Kate Bush pays tribute to Prince
Heartfelt message declares the world has “lost something magical.”

Kate Bush has penned a tribute message to Prince, who tragically passed away last Thursday (21st April).
Published on her own website in a rare communication with fans, Bush says she is “so sad and shocked” to hear of Prince’s death.
“He was the most incredibly talented artist. A man in complete control of his work from writer and musician to producer and director,” she says. “He was such an inspiration. Playful and mind-blowingly gifted. He was the most inventive and extraordinary live act I’ve seen. The world has lost someone truly magical. Goodnight dear Prince..”
Both musicians worked together on Bush’s ‘Why Should I Love You’, while she returned the favour by appearing on his 1996 album ‘Emancipation’.
