Listen: Ben Khan Streams New Track, ‘Savage’

It’s taken just over six months and Ben Khan is, by technicality, already a more prolific musician than Jai Paul, the guy he’s most compared to.

Relative prolificness hasn’t stopped the London newcomer from forging his own skittering sound, one slightly detached from XL’s enigmatic signing. ‘Savage’ has his voice sounding clearer than ever, in a ‘demo’ that circuits an intergalactic tale about ‘livin’ on Boulevard Madville’.

Whatever Ben’s on about, he’s working in a separate existence to most average Joe’s. Render him an Average Jai, if you dare, but that won’t stop Ben Khan from becoming one of 2014’s most talked about new artists.
