Listen: Empty Pools Unveil ‘Medium Wave’ Track
Bristol band shun the high road for another genre-bending triumph.

’ 90s-channelling guitar pulse is fast becoming unmatched, with barely any contemporaries coming close to mimicking their stirring, structure-shifting approach. ‘Medium Wave’ is the latest track to preview their debut ‘Saturn Returns’ album, in turn giving the Bristol band further cause to their genre-skewing guitar-led sprees.
‘Medium Wave’ follows on from ‘Exploded View’ and ‘Slack Tide’. Hooking onto ‘The Bends’-era Radiohead and holding on for dear life, obtuse melodies sway in fashion alongside cautious, all-seeing vocals.
‘Saturn Reruns’ is out on 4th November via Battle Worldwide.
