Hardly Art signings Gem Club have backed up previous track ‘Hypericum’ with a new cut from forthcoming album ‘In Roses’.
‘Polly’ is an expressive, emotional juggernaut of a track; a real ‘tissues at the ready’ moment defined the Boston group’s vocalist Christopher Barnes. Add in the customary cello, a grander string section and the line ‘I need you now what you’re gone’ and bloody hell this is all getting a bit much.
Available as a free download, listen to ‘Polly’ below. ‘In Roses’ is released on 28th January via Hardly Art in the US.
